Located just 1 block off of National Pike (Rt.40) and open year-round with indoor and outdoor seating.  We host all of our events at this location with access to our 1880’s barn, 3 large pavilions, indoor lounge & tasting room. Started in 1955 as an “Open Air” Fruit Market by Andrew and Loretta Bohatch, The Big Barn Country Store and Deli has survived many changes over five decades, nevertheless a visit still takes you back to your childhood memories.  Over the years, the store has become a familiar stop for people traveling through the Fayette County area and features a deli, Amish goods, beef jerky, nostalgic candy, and home-style baked goods.

As you approach the base of mountain at the junction of route 31 and route 381, (approx 1 mile from the PA Turnpike) you are presented with the option of climbing to the top of the Laurel Summit at 2,728 feet to play a round of golf or ski at Hidden Valley Resort or visit the other mountain at Seven Springs Resort to engage in similar activities.
